Hi, My name is Cynthia, and I am raising money for my dear friends Stephanie and her son Samuel as almost 2 weeks ago; she received the worst news a parent can hear: Her 10-year-old only child has bone cancer.

Here is what his mother wrote: Many of you have asked me about Ti Mumu… The news is unfortunately not good; he has bone cancer in his left knee.

He is hospitalized at Ste Justine's Hospital for an indefinite period. Tomorrow morning he'll have a biopsy to find out if he will have to do chemotherapy or radiotherapy. We don't have any further details at this time.

It was a big shock for him to learn this, we try to stay strong for him, but as a parent, we are just as devastated to realize this!! It is an excruciating pain to learn that the child we have brought into the world has this f***ing monster inside him.

At 10-year-old, he should attend back to school at the same time as his friends, he shouldn't have to wonder if he'll play hockey this season, and he shouldn't have to fight like that for his life!

She took indefinite time off of work to stay with her son during his fight, and this is where we all come in. I want her to not have to stress about bills piling up.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Cynthia et je collecte des fonds pour ma chère amie Stéphanie et son fils Samuel puisqu'il y a presque 2 semaines; elle a reçu la pire nouvelle qu'un parent puisse entendre : son fils unique de 10 ans, a un cancer des os.

Voici ce que sa mère a écrit : Vous êtes nombreux à me poser des questions sur Ti Mumu… Les nouvelles ne sont malheureusement pas bonnes ; il a un cancer des os au genou gauche.

Il est hospitalisé à l'hôpital Ste Justine pour une durée indéterminée. Demain matin, il subira une biopsie pour savoir s'il devra faire de la chimiothérapie ou de la radiothérapie. Nous n'avons pas plus de détails pour le moment.

Ça a été un gros choc pour lui d'apprendre ça, on essaie de rester fort pour lui, mais en tant que parent, on est tout aussi dévasté d’apprendre ceci !! C'est une douleur atroce d'apprendre que l'enfant que nous avons mis au monde a ce putain de monstre en lui.

À 10 ans, il devrait retourner à l'école en même temps que ses amis, il ne devrait pas se demander s'il jouera au hockey cette saison, et il ne devrait pas avoir à se battre comme ça pour sa vie !

Elle a pris un congé de travail indéfini pour rester avec son fils pendant son combat, et c'est là que nous intervenons tous. Je veux qu'elle n'ait pas à s'inquiéter des factures qui s'accumulent.
