Sam and Sarah

My dear friend, a longtime Ridgefield resident Sarah, is currently at the hospital 24/7 with her son, Sam, who is 21 years old and battling stage 3 cancer at Sloan. She had to use up her savings to take time off work during the first three months of his treatment. Now, Sam needs at least three more months of chemotherapy, and they are on the verge of losing their apartment. To make matters even more heartbreaking, they are both grieving the loss of Sarah’s oldest son, Zach, who tragically died by suicide about a year ago.
