On Wednesday, May 21st in the middle of the night during a severe thunderstorm two massive trees fell on the home of Sam and Kari Lara, my brother in law and sister. They live outside of Greenville, SC. Thankfully, none of their family was injured since the trees fell mostly in the family living area. Sadly, the event did catastrophic damage to their home. Unfortunately, due to other factors, they didn't have homeowner's insurance on their house at the time which leaves them in a very difficult financial position. I have set up this fund for those who would like to give to help them during this difficult time.
