Sam & Linda Anderson medical tragedies

So as some of you know Sam was hit by a pickup truck, driven by an elderly man going 50-60mph, while pulled off the road with their Hazzard lights on & was strapping the Pontoon awning that had flew off their pontoon to the trailer for the pontoon.. This all happened on hwy. 24 in Wabasha, which is the road to get to their camper. It took 7 different phones to get through to 911. When the first responders arrived they had to force the trailer away from their vehicle because he flew at least 15 feet in the air & landed in between the boat trailer on his head. He was stuck between it so they had to lift it off of him.. There was a nurse that came upon the accident and laid on the ground with him to keep him talking.. These are all the injuries he has, both hips are broke, & pelvis, The right one they had to put 2 pins in that will stay in for good. The left hip is completely shattered and needs a whole hip replacement. His right knee is shattered as well & they had to build a cage around it called an external fixated. The right femur bone is broke in 2 places & will need surgery, his tibia also needs surgery.  His right elbow & forearm are broke & dislocated where his bones actually were sticking out of his skin & needed surgery. His thoracic spine is broke and will need surgery. 17/24 ribs are broken. He has plates put in to help him breath & to prevent Pneumonia...His neck is broke. He had plastic surgery on his face alone with lots of very deep lacerations that have gone through tendons & ligaments. He had a very large gash to the back of his head that needed many stitches. He has a broken nose, & a broken foot. His lung, his kidney & his liver were clipped. He had a breathing tube in due to surgery. Grandpa was receiving blood transfusions all week & has undergone several surgeries. He is also still going through prostate cancer treatment. My grandma Linda is also doing chemo & radiation right now as well. Sam was the one that goes with her on Mondays due to the chemo & long appointments. They’ve been battling cancer earlier this year with grandpa Sam, & then Grandma Linda & now this. We need help covering lost wages, bills, & remodeling upper level of the house to be handicapped accessible for Grandpa Sam. He will undergo months of inpatient rehabilitation therapy and then months after outpatient everyday.
