Bruno es un motor muy importante en mi vida… Hace unos días, pasó de estar completamente saludable a no poder moverse de la cintura hacia abajo. Lo llevé al hospital de inmediato. Pensaron que era un problema en las rodillas y me lo dieron de alta con medicamentos. Pero solo 15 minutos después de llegar a casa, comenzó a convulsionar. Lo llevé de nuevo a emergencias, y las convulsiones no paraban. Pasó la noche en observación. Le hicieron radiografías, análisis de sangre y estudios para descartar envenenamiento o deshidratación. Todo salió bien, pero seguía sin diagnóstico claro. Lo llevé a un hospital neurológico, donde le hicieron una resonancia magnética y detectaron un infarto cerebral. Lo hospitalizaron durante varios días, también recibió estudios cardiológicos para descartar otras causas. Hoy Bruno ya salió del hospital de emergencias y continúa en tratamiento con el neurólogo. Está estable y en casa, pero necesita seguimiento, medicación y cuidados especiales. Hasta el momento, los gastos médicos han superado los $17,000 USD y se espera que lleguen a más de $20,000 USD. He cubierto todo lo posible, pero ya no puedo sola. Es muy difícil pedir ayuda, pero hoy lo hago con el corazón en la mano. Help Please!

Bruno is a huge part of my life… A few days ago, he went from being completely healthy to suddenly losing all movement from the waist down. I rushed him to the hospital, where they initially thought it was a knee issue and discharged him with medication. But just 15 minutes after we got home, he began having seizures—one after another. He spent the night under observation. They ran X-rays, blood tests, and screenings for poisoning and dehydration. All results came back normal, but we still had no clear diagnosis. I then took him to a specialized neurology hospital, where they performed an MRI and discovered a brain stroke. He was hospitalized for several days and also underwent heart tests to rule out any other underlying issues. Today, Bruno is back home and stable, but he’s still under neurological treatment and needs ongoing care and medication. So far, medical expenses have exceeded $17,000 USD, and the total is expected to reach over $20,000 USD. I’ve paid as much as I can, but I can’t do it alone anymore.
