The additional $3,639.60 is for necessary bills, such as electricity, wifi, and animal food (we have food stamps, so human food is not currently an issue). We are looking into programs and doing what we can to lower this remaining amount because we do not like the idea of other supporting us if we can find a way to help ourselves. However, as of now, this remaining amount is necessary.
We have $0 income. The mother is applying for a job. Due to this situation, this GoFundMe account fundraiser is the only chance we have to pay off our house. This is how we plan to spend the goal amount (if it is met):

We do not support the idea of asking for unnecessary things, so we are only asking for what we consider necessities (although one could call these things luxuries when they have been as low as we have).

We are a family of three who have just escaped a physically and financially abusive situation. We have no financial support and are facing eviction in less than 3 months (by September 2021). We can’t afford oil for hot water — we bathe in buckets and heat water on our broken oven-top to wash dishes. Our clothes consist of donations that were made over three years ago by a friend. Our shoes are falling apart, our car does not run, so we have been stranded at home since this Spring (we have been blessed enough to borrow someone’s car every few weeks since then). Meanwhile, we have ongoing legal expenses that are leaving us dime-less.
On top of this, the father — who beat his children and refused his wife a job — is appealing the child support, and has refused to support us for nearly two years now.
If this donation doesn’t work, we have no way to pay our taxes, our bills, or feed our animals. This means we would be homeless by this September and our beloved pets would be given away to shelters or sanctuaries. Please help, you are the only one who can help us. God has sent you here today to help us, to save us from homelessness. If you skip this, who knows if others will too? Please be the one to stay, care, and help. Any donation will help.
