Dentro de unos días, 70 animales podrían perder el único hogar que han conocido.

No entienden de leyes.

No entienden de terrenos.

Hoy son 70 perros y gatos los que dependen completamente de ella.

Como si todo lo vivido no hubiera sido suficiente, hace unas semanas ocurrió algo que nos rompió el corazón.

Tumba y Faruca murieron en la misma semana con síntomas digestivos graves. Fueron muertes casi fulminantes.

Según la valoración del veterinario y las pruebas realizadas antes de morir, la causa más probable fue un presunto envenenamiento, a la espera del resultado definitivo de los análisis toxicológicos.

No existen palabras para describir el dolor de perder a un animal al que has prometido proteger.

Desde entonces vivimos con un miedo constante.

Cada vez que uno deja de comer.

Cada vez que cae la noche.

Porque nadie debería volver a despedirse de ninguno.

Pero hay algo todavía más urgente.

Las instalaciones donde viven ya no pueden seguir siendo su hogar.

No reúnen las condiciones legales necesarias para que el refugio de Mariluz, SOS 112 Vagabundos, pueda continuar allí.

Eso significa que estos 70 animales pueden quedarse sin el único lugar donde se sienten seguros.

Después de sobrevivir al abandono…

Después de escapar del maltrato…

Después de aprender, por fin, a confiar en una persona…

Podrían volver a perderlo absolutamente todo.

Y eso es algo que no podemos permitir.

Existe una solución.

No queremos construir un refugio de lujo.

No queremos grandes instalaciones.

No queremos nada extraordinario.

Solo queremos comprar un terreno donde nadie pueda volver a echarlos.

Un lugar seguro.

Un lugar legal.

Un lugar donde puedan terminar su vida rodeados de cariño.

Necesitamos reunir 130.000 € para hacerlo posible.

Existe una finca que reúne todas las condiciones necesarias y cuya propietaria conoce nuestro interés. Está vallada y ya tiene una gran nave construída por lo que podría utilizarse casi de inmediato. Pero no podemos reservarla indefinidamente. Si finalmente deja de estar disponible, todo el dinero recaudado se destinará íntegramente a adquirir otra finca adecuada y a construir allí su nuevo hogar.

Then Fear Arrived

As if everything these animals had already endured wasn't enough, a few weeks ago tragedy struck.

Tumba and Faruca died within the same week after suddenly developing severe digestive symptoms. Their deaths were devastatingly sudden.

According to the attending veterinarian and the tests performed before they died, the most likely cause was suspected poisoning, although the final toxicology results are still pending.

There are no words to describe the pain of losing an animal you promised to protect.

Since then, every day has been filled with fear.

Every time one of them refuses to eat.

Every time night falls.

Every time one doesn't come running as usual.

No one should ever have to say goodbye to another one of them.

But There Is an Even Greater Threat

The place these animals currently call home can no longer remain their refuge.

The property does not meet the legal requirements for SOS 112 Vagabundos, Mariluz's rescue organization, to continue operating there.

That means these 70 innocent lives could lose the only place where they have ever felt safe.
