Salvador is a hardworking family man who unfortunately was a passenger during a tragic motor vehicle accident that occurred on October 12, 2020. This accident occurred between a semitruck and a personal passenger vehicle while on the way to work. They were literally minutes away from arriving at work when they collided with a semitruck. Salvador had to be extracted from the vehicle with the jaws of life and immediately rushed to the hospital, as he was in critical condition.  Throughout his hospital stay, he has needed 24-hour care as his vitals and heart rate were very unstable due to multiple injuries to his legs, face and most importantly the trauma he sustained to his brain.  He will need long term care and rehabilitation once he has been stabilized.  Salvador is unaware of his condition since he was asleep at the time of the accident. Salvador has always been about his family and his job. This tragic incident is taking a hard-financial toll on both himself and his family.  He is the sole provider of his family and has always had a strong work ethic. With a new baby on the way and a nine year old daughter, this tragedy has created more stress and worries for the family daily.  Salvador needs to get the best care possible so he can continue to provide the best life for his children as he has always done prior to this accident. His employment (Fresno Roofing Company) had plans for him to become a foreman of his own roofing crew and this accident is a huge setback for him.  We appreciate any help that we receive as it will help pay current and future medical bills during his recovery.  The cost of his current medical bills and impending medical bills will continue to increase as his recovery progresses. He will need a rehabilitation facility in order to learn to walk, talk, eat and breathe again.  His current surgeries included a tracheotomy, feeding tube and facial reconstruction.  We just want Salvador to come home to his family where he belongs. We know it’s going to be a long road to recovery, but Sal is a fighter and he will get through this.    We would like to express our gratitude to all those that have helped and want to thank you for your prayers.  We know the prayers are reaching Sal as he continues to slowly improve.  We are very appreciative of those who are here by his side through this tragic and most difficult time.  Anyone that knows Salvador can vouch for him in saying that he is a very hardworking man and that he makes sure his family is always taken care of.  He is the root of his family and has built his family and life from the ground up.
