Hi, my name is Maricela and I'm creating this GoFundMe page to honor and remember one of the greatest man I get to call my Father-in-law. He was a devoted Husband to Lidia, loving/caring father to his wonderful children Brenda, Salvador Jr., Michael, and lastly Bryan. Salvador was a great example to Manuel and I, because he showed us what a loyal and caring partner is suppose to look like in a marriage. THIS MAN WAS AND IS A LEGEND! A professional soccer player who played in many clubs including Atlante, Celaya, and Oaxtepec to name a few. Although his track record can speak for itself, what I admired the most was the love and impact he made to his grand daughter's Dayanara, Camila, Miah and Alessia. He would give everything for his girls. He worked every day till the last day when he got admitted. (Even then he still wanted to work). He never wanted to leave a job undone.
Unfortunately, Salvador's health condition took a sudden turn in the last couple of months. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which led to many complications and put his body in distress not allowing proper healing for treatment . Salvador and his family struggled to overcome this hardship. He was admitted to multiple Hospitals while his family attempted to find the right treatment to prolong his life by going through multiple surgeries and exams hoping to spend more time with him.
Salvador had the greatest sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. Even in his last days he fought with a sense of humor. Sadly, just when he began his Chemo treatment, he had a downfall and continued to fight his battle in the hospital. However, his body could no longer sustain any more treatment and Salvador decided to spend his last days with his family.
His love language was acts of service which translated to working every single day of the week, providing for his family, cooking and devoting his free time to serve his children, grandchildren, family, friends and even strangers who asked for help.
