Salvador Segura Pulido

Hi, my name is Jeremy Moore and I am the President of Miracle Restaurant Group, the company that owns and operates the Arby's Restaurant In Grayslake IL.

On Monday, we received the heartbreaking news that one of our beloved employees had passed away unexpectedly. Salvador (Sal) was a Shift Manager at Arby's #6892 on Belvidere RD in Grayslake and had been with our company since August of 2005.

Over the course of his time with us, Sal was one of the most loyal, reliable, fun-loving, customer focused, get-it-done employees we have ever had. When everyone else was stuck at home due to weather, Sal would find a cab ride to work on his day off in white out conditions to ensure that his General Manager and friend (Kristin) would not be working by herself that day. He was very funny and often the life of the party during the company Christmas parties and other social functions. He loved family parties, often cooking for the family and making sure he was the last one to leave so he could help cleanup. Truly, Sal was focused on serving others whether it was at work or outside of work.

I met Sal a few times on my visits to the restaurant when I visited the area and have fond memories of our interactions. He was always smiling and upbeat which can be somewhat of a rarity in our line of work. I know for certain that if everyone had his disposition, the world would certainly be a better place. I'm told he was a favorite by many of our guests and it's not at all hard understand why that is.

Sal was not married and lived on his own. His brother Jose, who is the patriarch for the family and also works for our company recently lost his wife Maria to her longtime battle with cancer in December 2023. Now unfortunately Jose is faced with the grim task of saying goodbye to his brother.

Jose is an amazing person himself and would never ask for any help... that's why I have taken it on myself to create this campaign in an effort to help the man who would never ask for it. If you can, please help Jose and his family honor and lay to rest their beloved Sal. Anything helps, including prayers!

With Jose's permission, I will post more details as they are made available if he is ok with me doing so.
