Salvador Hurtado

With all the sadness in my heart we are sharing the news that my dad, Salvador “Chava” has passed away on 09/05/23. My father has had a rough couple years, especially the last fews months battling his disease of diabetes. He had his leg amputated in December and ever since had a rough time healing and was consistently in and out of the hospital. I did everything in my power to get him back to feeling good but unfortunately just took a toll on him and he was in a lot of pain and god had other plans. As much as I would have wanted to have him here longer with us, I find peace that he is no longer suffering and is dancing in the sky with his loved ones watching over us. If anyone knew my dad he was a kind hearted soul who loved to dance and joke around. We are raising funds to give him the funeral and memorial he deserves. We appreciate any donations. Con toda la tristeza de mi corazón les compartimos la noticia de que mi papá Salvador “Chava” falleció el día 05/09/23. Mi padre ha tenido un par de años difíciles, especialmente los últimos meses luchando contra su enfermedad de diabetes. Le amputaron la pierna en diciembre y desde entonces tuvo dificultades para recuperarse y estuvo constantemente entrando y saliendo del hospital. Hice todo lo que estuvo en mi poder para que volviera a sentirse bien, pero desafortunadamente le pasó factura y estaba sufriendo mucho y Dios tenía otros planes. Por mucho que hubiera querido tenerlo aquí por más tiempo con nosotros, encuentro la paz de que ya no sufre y está bailando en el cielo con sus seres queridos cuidándonos. Si alguien conocía a mi papá, era un alma de buen corazón a la que le encantaba bailar y bromear. Estamos recaudando fondos para brindarle el funeral y el homenaje que se merece.
