Dear friends, family and acquaintances: With broken hearts, our family is humbly seeking assistance to lay our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and great grandfather, to rest. Our grandfather Salvador Garcia was a lifelong agricultural worker who gave and supported his family with so much throughout his 95 years of life. His journey on earth was long and his impact deeply felt. Our grandfather loved everyone he took in as family wholeheartedly. He had special nicknames for his grandchildren and shared so many memories of journeys, wisdom and laughter, as the patriarch of our family and as our beacon of support throughout his years. He was hard-working and dedicated to his family. He loved to laugh and joke and used humor to make his loved ones smile under all circumstances. He was a special kind-hearted humble man whose love was so vast, he also took in adopted children and grandchildren as his own. To say we will miss him deeply is an understatement and, at this time, we kindly ask for our family and community’s support to give him the burial he deserves. Salvador “Papi Chava” is survived by his sons Gonzalo, Luis, Jose Antonio and his daughters Maribel, Teresa, Alma Delia and Dora Luz, and their spouses. He is also survived by his wife, our “Mamita” Ofelia Garcia Patiño, and by 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as by those he adopted. We ask for your love and support through this very difficult time and if you are able to support our family for our grandfather’s services please share our fundraiser with your neworks.
