Help the Cuellar Family in their time of Tragedy

My dear friend Mirian... many of you know her as Mili, one of my beloved Spanish teachers from Honduras that I consider a sister... has been a constant source of light and support in my life. We’ve weathered ups and downs together, even sharing a home during tough times. Now it’s my turn to show up for her.

The day after Mili’s beautiful wedding in Colorado (Monday, September 1, 2025), tragedy struck. Her brother Salvador Cuellar was in a devastating car accident back home in Honduras. Because of travel restrictions, Mili’s family couldn’t attend her wedding—and now they’re facing an unimaginable crisis from afar.

Salvador’s injuries are extensive: a punctured lung and a severe infection that has led to sepsis. The Honduran medical system requires $2,000 USD per day for ICU care, all paid out of pocket. Unlike in the U.S., if the family cannot pay, Salvador will be denied treatment. They have already exhausted their savings.

Every dollar will go directly to Salvador’s medical expenses to keep him in the ICU and give him the chance to heal. Even a small contribution can mean another day of lifesaving care.
