Hey friends, would you please consider donating a dollar or two?

I know this is what I signed up for, being a breeder. It's extremely costly when you try to do things the ethical way.

This month's bills have been crazy with a series of unfortunate events. Along with my vet bill... there's all the other usual expenses too.

I don't make a profit. Yes, I get kitten income from my litters, but it goes straight back onto my bills: vet, food, litter, maintenance of catios, health testing of all my parent cats, show prep, registration, social media, admin, vetting enquiries, socialisation of the babies, importing new genetics, and endless cleaning. I am in the red ALL the time.

Here's a breakdown of recent events:

3/12/25 - Envy gave birth to 8 babies. Unfortunately 1 was still born.

5/12/25 - Another of her babies, purple collar girl, began to deteriorate, required tube feeding and vet support $62

10/12/25 - Purple girl faded and crossed over to the rainbow bridge with her stillborn sibling

23/12/25 - My second mum who was pregnant, failed to begin labour. She required an emergency c-section, and had just 1 baby born. A beautiful tortie girl. The c-section + antibiotics + imaging came to $1239

24/12/25 - Yellow girl from Envy's litter developed a flat chest (pectus excavatum). My vet started a course of dex shots and required several reviews. $91

27/12/25 - Yellow girl review and more dex $91

29/12/25 - Roisin and her tortie baby had a post c-section review, requiring more antibiotics, a recovery suit. And Yellow girl also had her chest review $132

30/12/25 - Yellow girl review / dex $91. And the tortie girl began to deteriorate, she stopped feeding from her mama and had distressed breathing. She went into vet ICU and required oxygen and support.

31/12/25 - Tortie girl remained in ICU

1/1/26 - Tortie girl passed away Her vet costs were $1000.

2/1/26 - Yellow girl had another review. So far her chest had not improved.

7/1/26 - Yellow girl saw vet specialist to determine quality of life and surgical options. We have booked in an external chest splint surgery for Tuesday 13/1/26. There are risks involved. Overall it seems like a good treatment option if she makes it through the surgery. $97 for today's consult, and about $600 for the imaging, surgery next week, and post op care.

In total, just these vet bills alone have exceeded $3000.

I have 8000+ followers and if everyone donated just 1 dollar, it would cover my December/January emergency vet bills and for some (always needed) food and litter.
