Building Our Dream Boat

Hi, my name is Garrett Jolly. My wife Ruth and I are in the process of building the boat of our dreams. She will be a 35 ft wooden gaff rigged ketch.We have been sailing, restoring, and living aboard boats together since we were 18. We are now 23, and over the past 5 years we have developed a passion for traditional wooden boats. After living, sailing, and working on numerous boats we came to the conclusion that the only way to get the boat of our dreams was to build it.  We are well into the project now and hope to raise money to help keep up with the costs of materials and outfitting the boat.
