Coastal Conservation and Community Involvement - Salt Strong Alliance wants our communities and partners in coastal conservation to see that we are not only outstanding anglers, but we are a true unified force to positively impact and protect our natural resources and fisheries for future generations. We believe in the importance of responsible and sustainable fishing practices, and we want to be a leading example of that in our communities.
The Salt Strong Alliance will be organizing events and activities that promote fishing and natural resource conservation and bring our communities, partners, like-minded supporters and Salt Strong Insider members together to make a difference in Coastal Communities!
The Birth of Salt Strong Alliance
The Tampa Salt Strong Chapter is composed of passionate anglers who strongly believe in the importance of conservation and are dedicated to enhancing the natural resources and fishing habitats in our area.
It all began at the start up of the Tampa Chapter and during discussions, Captain Mike Goodwine expressed the idea of establishing our own super-powered conservation workforce to tackle Salt Strong-inspired conservation projects. And George Layton's vision of creating a united force for conservation, comprised of dedicated Insiders, who could truly make a difference in Tampa Bay.
Building upon these ideas, it became clear that Insiders could support one another in their conservation efforts across different chapters, provided that the leadership encourages and fosters open communication.
By promoting dialogue between Chapter Conservation Leaders and encouraging them to share their plans and initiatives, the Salt Strong conservation synergy will flourish. While each chapter may have its own unique conservation projects, the knowledge that a united team of Insiders from the Salt Strong Nation stands ready to collaborate and support their efforts would undoubtedly empower the Conservation Leads of each chapter.
