Salt Addiction Fishing Charity Event

Blessings,

My name is Jamiel Ortiz, co-founder, and organizer of the Salt Addiction Fishing catch & Release charity tournament. My partner Rick Frias and I have been organizing the event for the last 8 years. Our mission and goal is to help children who are disabled and their families. We believe every child deserves a chance to thrive.

The Salt Addiction Fishing Charity Tournament is a non-profit fishing event. The tournament is dedicated to a different child every year. With the support of our sponsors, we gather items for our charity event. All proceeds gathered from it are later presented to the family to whom we dedicate the event. This year we will be helping two children instead of one. Therefore, any donation that is made will help substantially.

This year our event is dedicated to 9-year-old Sophia Rose Martinez and Isaiah De La Rosa. Sophia and Isaiah both have a condition known as Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral palsy is a group of conditions that affect movement and posture.

Raising a child with a disability can come with unique challenges, including the mental stress and physical exhaustion of family caregiving. Money or material items cannot buy happiness, but it can help a family with medical expenses or any other expenses the family has. Any donation made is accepted with gratitude and appreciation. If you cannot donate to the cause, please us by sharing with friends and family.

Thank you in advance,

Salt Addiction Fishing Team
