Hello, I'm Sal and I'm a 27 year old transmasculine non-binary person (I use the pronouns they/he) living and working in London. I've chosen to fundraise so that I can get top surgery to remove my breasts to live a much more comfortable life. I have wanted access to this surgery for over a decade.

The back pain I suffer, difficulty in participating in sports comfortably, and the attention they draw have been tough, but most challenging is the way they stop me from seeing myself as who I am. Gender affirming surgeries are so difficult to come by, with the waiting list currently at 4 years between referral to the Gender Identity Clinic and the first appointment with a doctor. This is why I'm seeking financial support to move forward with my transition and to help ease the difficulties of feeling dysphoric - one thing I know is that I can always rely on my community.
