In Honor of Mario Salonga

Donation protected
It is with great sadness I announce the sudden and unexpected passing of my father, Mario Salonga (far left in photo), after battling COVID-19 on April 10, 2020.

He was married to my mother, Cecilia and had two children – my brother (Joel) and I (Kathrina.) My father was a hard-working individual, who worked two jobs as a homecare Physical Therapist. We were recently told was often referred to as a “gentle giant” and “Super Mario” by co-workers and patients.

If you’ve ever encountered my father, he was a very kind person, who always had a joke to crack and unique laugh you can never forget. My father was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend who never hesitated to care for others especially his family, friends, patients and co-workers alike. His kindness knew no bounds and it’s evident in the lives of the people he loved and cared for.

Although the virus took my father’s life in just a few weeks, his memory will live on through family and friends. Please keep my family in your prayers, we don’t ask for much, however, any contribution you make will go toward my father’s medical expenses and funeral costs. We are appreciative of your love and support in any way.

Sincerely,

Kathrina, Cecilia, and Joel Salonga

Please note: All donations will be going to help the Salonga family with funeral and columbarium costs along with helping with other bills.
