Salon Palestine - Diwan Falastin

To our dear big global queer (and beyond) community,

Queer Magic Festival is an initiative that originally came from the Canaanite radical faeries in order to create an event that is open for all and allows us to share the beauty and magic of queer life. The festival is taking place on October 11-14.

As part of the festival, we - a group of Palestinian and Israeli faeries, queer folks - are planning to open a space dedicated to the struggle against the occupation and for a decolonial future for Israel/Palestine. The space will house a variety of workshops, talks and educational materials to be held at the space, as well as Palestinian Voguing and Arabic music performances.

Almost everything we will use is donated by ourselves or our friends. However, due to the tight budget of the festival, we are unable to offer free tickets to our workshop coordinators (Palestinian peace activists and artists). So we are seeking aid from our lovely global community!

Our goal is to raise 1500 Euros. This will go towards covering tickets and food for 6-7 workshop coordinators. Any additional funds raised will be used to offer subsidised tickets to our Palestinian queer siblings.
