Salon by Michael Johnson (Mexico City)

My name is Michael Johnson and I am fundraising for my dream salon in the Polanco neighborhood in Mexico City. It is a dream come true to open this gem in the heart of a city that I have grown to love.

This is a labor of love for the art of hairstyling and helping people see it as a career.

I have been a hairstylist for over three decades and in business in Mexico City for over a year now and have 8 employees that I have been able to pay a higher than average salary, where my employees have a living wage than what's normally paid here in Mexico. I love seeing the confidence and self-respect blossoming within my team of artists.
