Hi, my name is Mikhail Salmon. I am a proud father of two kids. Yesterday, on April 16, roughly around 9 PM, I was at work getting ready to go home to my family. Food was already made for me. My daughter had just recently FaceTimed me to tell me that dinner was ready and that I needed to hurry up home. Clearly, I couldn't break the law by speeding, so it was a drag to get home. When I noticed this large cloud of smoke in the direction of where I reside, as soon as I was able to notice this smoke, the first thought that crossed my mind was a bonfire, my phone rang, and it was my wife on the phone from a different phone number that I didn’t recognize. The first words she uttered were, 'Oh my God, we just lost everything.' I responded with, 'What do you mean we just lost everything?' The phone died, and I was left with the most horrific, gut-wrenching cliffhanger. I suddenly started to speed up the vehicle 10 mph above the regular speed limit. I started to have this gut feeling something was not right because this cloud of smoke was precisely where I reside and the sound of sirens were getting louder As I got closer, all I could see were blue and red lights flashing and bouncing off of every reflective surface. It was like the Fourth of July. immediately I started to feel very worried because My house was on fire!!!! I immediately jumped out of the car and ran towards the house passing each and every individual—EMTs, firefighters, police officers, neighbors— our main concern was my wife and kids and also my dogs I saw my daughter standing beside an officer, I immediately picked my daughter up without hesitation she yelled, daddy, your here I can tell she was terrified and she was scared. I’ve looked around for my wife also explaining to my daughter that everything is going to be OK and that the materials in the house will be replace. I was being informed about the damages of the house because I was told to stay put while they finish up their duties afterwards we were able to see the damages of the house and it was horrific everything inside of the house destroyed. We will kindly accept all offers prayers and donations to help us rebuild what we have lost or to secure us a new home for our children and animals. The house was uninsured there was nothing to salvage. You were left for one option, but to have a fresh start later on that night we called Red Cross and they provided a short term assistance we stayed at the hotel overnight I simply ask if there is still good in this world, please help me and my family to gain back what we have lost because this fire was so damaging we would have to relocate and to look for a new home the first 2000 to $3000 would be a security deposit for a new home for our two beautiful children Aaliyah salmon and cameron salmon as of now our little daughter stays with her God mother and my other child stays with his biological mom. Me and my wife currently has to struggle day-to-day without a roof over our head unfortunately I am currently unemployed. My wife was so overwhelmed that a week later she lost her job it is very difficult to get stable and to sustain.
