Mark and Sally Wood live just outside Wahpeton, North Dakota, with their children and livestock. Sally was recently diagnosed with a "Brain Bleed," a condition leading to ruptured blood vessels on/in the brain, resulting in neurological damage and other complications.
Sally will be undergoing surgery at the University of Minnesota, resulting, as you might imagine, in some considerable costs - an estimated $15-20,000.
That's where you and I come in.
The purpose of this gofundme is to raise that $15-20,000 for the Woods to offset that considerable expense. Be assured that every dime received will go directly to the Woods to cover the expenses associated with the surgery and associated recovery, which will likely include the re-learning of basic motor functions, muscle coordination and strength, and visual coordination, as well as the costs associated with this site (8% of each donation).
What can I do?
1. PRAY. I can't stress the importance of your prayers enough - without God's orchestration, none of this will work. Coming alongside the Woods in prayer is a tremendously important aspect of this operation.
2. Donate. As previously stated, the proceeds from this gofundme will go to Mark and Sally Wood to cover the costs associated with the surgery and recovery, including childcare and travel. $20,000 is the goal, and with enough exposure and support I'm confident we can reach that.
