On May 1st, 3 weeks from today, I’ll be getting both ovaries and my uterus removed after 22 years of painful, life interrupting complications due to endometriosis. On Feb 27th, I had surgery to remove endometriosis from both ovaries, uterus and the back wall of my abdomen; less than 2 years ago I had the same surgery to remove endo in the same spots as well as having my fallopian tubes removed.

This has been an extremely humbling experience these past few months and has put me into a precarious place financially after losing full time remote work due to endo. Between recovering from surgery in February to preparing for my hysterectomy May 1st (pap smear & pre op), I have been unable to work consistently enough to cover my expenses, namely my car, gas, medicine and nutrition. I’m currently experiencing issues with eating which has further compounded my existing discomfort and has slowed me down from taking on ad hoc work.

I am humbly asking for any donations to assist me throughout my recovery, which should be 4-6 weeks.

As a thank you to anyone who donates, I’ll be creating custom art pieces during my recovery time (lots of sitting in bed between walks) to send out because it simply feels wrong to ask for money, even when I really need it.
