Elderly Salisbury NC Flood Victim Needs Help

Watch the WBTV News Coverage

Hello Friends & Supporters,

Our 76-year old mother/step-mother, Brenda Goins, 10 days post knee replacement surgery awoke to rapid flash flooding rushing into her home on August 31, 2020 in her Wellington Hills neighborhood of Salisbury NC.   As Emergency Responders rescued her via boat, she could see her 4Runner in the distance almost fully submerged under water. (picture above) We are hopeful our dads hand-crafted furniture and her precious life keepsakes will be salvageable but it's likely everything below 4-ft has been ruined. She is now left mentally broken with possible infection to her knee and way too many difficult decisions for anyone to deal with. While this page was started to help our mother get back on her feet, we believe the morale boost gained from your support may help uplift her spirits more! Every dollar donated will be put to practical use in an effort to help our mother recover from this devastating blow to her life and health. Thank you for visiting this page and for the support and prayers!

Sincerely,
Holly
