Total-Loss Family House Fire
Donation protected

Family of 5 lost everything in a devastating fire!
Puppy was rescued by firefighters.

The homeowners, Isaac & Katie Salinas, along with children Solana (6th grade), Ixchel (3rd grade) and Avani (1st grade) were at work and school during the blaze & ARE ALL THANKFULLY, SAFE & SOUND after a fire destroyed a portion of their home on March 24, 2015. We are SO grateful that their 5 month old puppy Strider is also safe and sound!

He narrowly escaped asphyxiation after being forced to hide deeper in the burning home, because his dog run was ablaze. He was rescued by the firefighters!! Thank you, firefighters!!
Though only a portion of the house was burned, at this point insurance is calling it a total-loss due to asbestos scatter from previous popcorn ceilings that became airborne during the fire and fire-extinguishing.
The Salinas' are currently in a hotel with their dog. They are doing well because they are grateful to be alive!
In the meantime, any monetary donations to help with the cost of life without a home & starting over would be greatly appreciated.
We are so grateful to the outpour of kindness that we have already received!! You are all truly amazing!
Thank you for all of your help!!
