Hi there everyone! Most of us want nothing more than to see trans men and women safe and thriving. Many of you know Salina, but what you may not know is that she bravely started her transition recently, and has been really working on her mental and emotional health, as coming out meant adjusting to being a single parent, not just for her but for her four kids as well.
In order to fully focus on healing and evolving into who she is meant to be, and on the advice of a licensed therapist and with the OK from her employer, Salina opted to take a 3 month leave of absence from her job, and she was approved for Disability. Unfortunately, that monetary assistance has not started yet, and so she is losing her current housing on the 10th. She's hopeful the SDI will start soon, but we all know what its like waiting on the government.
In the meantime, she needs help with short term housing, food, and medications while she works so diligently on her health, both mental and physical.
Salina has supported so many of us, so many times, while never asking for anything, but I pushed her to ask for help from her friends. Please, donate if you can, share the link if, and most of all - send Salina good vibes and loving energy while she does this important work.
