Salih's New Journey

Salih and I met on the streets of Los Angeles when he asked me for help with the QR code on his electric scooter. Two hours and an unexpected dinner later, he had shared his life story with me.

Salih got out of prison two weeks ago. He was abused as child and charged for a life prison sentence at the age of fourteen. He served eighteen years of that sentence and grew up behind bars. He is now struggling to get back on his feet.
