Hi, my name is Salem, I am an American Doberman and I live in Soldotna, Alaska. When my mom got me she was told that my tail wasn’t healing properly after I underwent my tail docking, and that she needed to keep an eye on it. My parents immediately booked me a vet appointment at the Soldotna Animal Hospital.  Instantly things didn’t look well.  I’ve had months of vet visits and expensive medications, I’ve had trouble with my balance, and knowing when I have to use the bathroom, due to nerve damage. Necrotic tissue and bone fragments cover the end of my tail. Now my Vet says I need surgery! My mom has all paid my vet bills, and got a consultation on my surgery and it is going to cost her $3,000 more to get my tail fixed, I really need this, but won’t be able to afford it.
