Hello, my name is Saleh Mahran, and I am close to fulfilling my lifelong dream to become a doctor. Born and raised in Egypt, I have always been driven by a passion to help others and make a difference in the world through medicine. This passion led me to the rigorous path of medical school -- a journey filled with countless challenges but also immense rewards.

Three months ago, I was offered an incredible opportunity to come to the United States for a medical internship, a crucial step towards enhancing my skills and knowledge. This experience has not only been a cornerstone in my medical career but has also exposed me to advanced medical practices that I am eager to bring back to my home country and integrate into my future work.

However, my journey has hit an obstacle. I currently find myself in a difficult situation where I cannot return to Egypt to receive my medical diploma. The reason for this is a requirement in Egypt for completing military service, which I have not yet done due to my studies and internship abroad. This is where I need your help.

There is an initiative for military service exemption for Egyptians living abroad, which would allow me to return home, receive my diploma, and importantly, apply for residency in the United States to continue my medical career. The cost to apply for this exemption is $5,500, an amount I currently do not have due to my full commitment to my medical education and internship. Your support would not just help me overcome this hurdle; it would enable me to complete my medical education, receive my diploma, and move forward to residency.
