Husband sets wife’s family’s home on fire

My name is Nia Marie. My husband intentionally set my family’s home on fire at the entrance, back door, and garage doors. His intentions were clear. He wanted us all dead. Luckily one of our dogs, Hemi, barked until he woke up my mother. Who then woke up the rest of my family. We were all able to get out safely thankfully.

There is extensive damage to my parents home. I feel responsible for inviting this man into my life. The situation that led to his initial arrest involved my daughter and an assault to me. This arrest prompted this violent and dangerous act to hurt me and my loved ones.

I pray that he is caught by officials but worry due to his financial situation he will be able allude any form of justice.

I just want to be able to get help for my parents.
