This year will make THIRTY FIVE YEARS of marriage for two of the most amazing people in the world: my parents!
When their 30th anniversary came around, they wanted to try and leave the country and go to Italy, but it was just too difficult between how expensive it was, and making sure the poolhall would be okay if they were unable to be reached. Ultimately, the decided to put it off until their 35th, because by then everything should be easier, right? Wrong.
With covid-19 spreading across the world, there have been many complications, including restrictions in daily activity, border closures, and, unfortunately, the loss of Butera's Billiards.
I was hoping to celebrate so many more life events at our poolhall (including their anniversary), but it just wasn't meant to be right now.
I want to try and raise enough money to take care of a hotel room (likely somewhere nearby, i.e. Santa Barbara) for a few nights, and a few nice meals so my parents can try and celebrate such a wonderful milestone in their life guilt free.
If you can spare the money, anything helps! If not, that's okay, too.
