Where do we start, writing this feels surreal. Sakander's unexpected passing has left us all with an irreplaceable void. We are all missing his laugh, his contagious positivity and nothing will fill that vacancy. It will hurt forever but, everything you are feeling is important, to keep him with you so please do not fight the thoughts and feelings. It will begin to hurt a bit less and the memories will stay eternal, to remind us all of his life, legacy and all the qualities we loved him for and hope to adopt into our lives. All of this is part of what makes us unique as humans and we will share his story for as long as we have air in our lungs.

As you can imagine, this has left his family with more questions than answers, heart break that no one should have to endure. Loosing a child to soon. No one plans for it and no one is prepared for it. We are starting this fund to help his family in the only way we can, as Sakander's community, to help his family have a tiny bit less of a sting and to remove some of the financial strain. If you can give any amount, every bit is appreciated. Sakander might have changed his cosmic address but if anyone would want us to celebrate and smile at this time, it would have been him. He has been a great friend, an inspirational artist, and a source of support to many. Over the short few years he grew into an unforgettable and irreplaceable individual, a pillar in our community. He spoke to anyone that needed it, motivated his friends, remained driven and passionate no matter what obstacles were put in front of him and he did it all with a smile. Very few people make such a deep and fast impact on so many different people; he is universally loved and we can confidently say that he did much more for others than he ever did for himself.

Additionally to this fund, Syndicate will be holding a memorial open mic night, something that Sakander took lead on and help to create and grow. During this event we will hold a silent auction for the remaining clothes that he had on his rack, which will be sent to his family as well.
