Help Bring Exorcism for Dummies to Life

Two roommates, a mystical older sister, and a haunting that gets wildly out of hand. Help us bring this ridiculous dark comedy to life - ghosts, secrets, and very questionable life choices included.

Hi! We’re the team behind Exorcism for Dummies a dark comedy short film made by a mostly female, queer and non binary crew.

We’re making this project because we love weird ridiculous comedy and honestly because we couldn’t not make it. Our cast and crew are working for free because we believe in the story but there are still some unavoidable costs. We need to feed people (turns out caffeine and snacks keep the set functioning) cover lighting, sound and post production, to pull off a few stunts safely and rent some key props that may or may not be possessed.

We’re keeping this as bare bones as possible but we could really use your help to make sure the crew gets fed the film looks and sounds its best and nobody has to call their chiropractor after a stunt day. And whatever's left over will help us submit to film festivals so this strange little film can haunt more screens.
