As many of you know, our family is currently facing an unexpected medical challenge. Due to a sudden change in insurance, with Molina being dropped from VA Medicaid on the 1st, we’re now waiting for Medicaid approval. This has left us with out-of-pocket costs for Saiur’s 21-day at-home PICC line treatment, which requires IV medication 3 times a day and a home health care worker.

On top of medical expenses, we’re also juggling regular day-to-day things like gas for going back and forth to the hospital and weekly clinic visits for bandage changes, plus food and daily living costs while away from home.
