SAINTS Robotics -Team 119 at Saint Bernard School in Uncasville, CT, competes within the VEX VRC Robotics Competition where an amazing group of students collaborate to solve technically challenging obstacles in a competitive and fun environment. This is a student-led program where the teams design, build and code robots that face against each other in a 2 on 2 arena within a game that adapts and changes throughout the season. Additionally, each tournament has a second "Skills" competition where teams must run their robot through a series of task within the same arena to score as many points as possible. These events require teams to not only drive their robots to perform the tasks but also code them to do the same challenges autonomously!
Please consider helping support team 119 in its continued growth at our school. In 3 short years, Ann Marie Jakubielski has built a powerhouse program and this year has had 4 teams - 119A, 119B, 119W and 119X qualify for the National Championship (CREATE US Open) in Iowa at the end of March. Additionally, due to their exceptional performance at the Connecticut VEX State Championship, Teams 119A and 119B have qualified to compete in the VEX VRC World Championship in Dallas, Texas in May.
