Hello www, hello everyone.

My name is Saint. I am a 25-year-old black trans woman, born and raised in Sweden now based in Berlin for three years. It has been a long road walking to arrive here, but I’m still here and it’s time for me to start getting closer to the pit stop that equals even more gender euphoria and safety for myself.

Around four years have passed since I started on HRT, and around two years since I started this crowdfunding. I am getting more and more comfortable in my body for each day that goes by. I am beyond grateful for all the lessons, blessings and life that HRT has given and keeps on giving to me although there are things with me that need correction. Things I see in my imagination but not in my own reflection.

Living in Sweden and having a beautiful safety net in relation to friends, family, lovers, and LGBTQIA+ siblings lifted me in many ways. Their support also made me gather the courage to apply for a gender investigation and go all the way through with it. However, the absence of trans sisters who looked like me and to whom I could relate made me feel lonely in many ways and was one of the main reasons why I moved to Berlin. Whilst living here I have been getting even closer and more comfortable in spirit and body in various ways.

The thing that keeps on nagging me, as I mentioned a bit earlier is the reflection I see when looking in the mirror, how the current status quo is that I’m further away from passing in other people's eyes and therefore a bigger threat to myself. The, for me very girly and cute part of checking in in the mirror, has turned into an obsession with looking at myself since I know what has to change but yet can’t see it in reality. My reflection is foggy.

I am now reaching out with this crowdfunding to fund my FFS surgery (Facial Feminization Surgery) I’m about to do since funding the entire procedure myself would take a far too long time.

To explain a bit more exactly what it is that I will do and where the money will go please stay with me and read below;

The medical term for the surgery is called Supraorbital bone modulation. When doing this the surgeons will scrape down the eyebrow bone as well as lift up the skin besides the eyebrows. This will make the eyes appear bigger and the forehead rounder and more feminized.

The surgery will take place at the Ocean Clinic in Madrid and will contain a one week stay in the city for pre and post-op the beginning of 2025.

The money I am funding here will be used for Hospital Fees, Medication, General anesthesia, Material CT scans as well as pre and post-op care and rehabilitation.

Upon receiving this surgery I know for a fact that my inner stress, my fear of being on the streets, my dysphoria, etc. will damp. By getting this surgery I will be able to see more clear, be more clear and love more clear. This is something that neither the Swedish or German state pays for in relation to transitioning and why I now have to ask for this help.
