Hi, my name is Saint-Osei, and I created this for support as I prepare for my top surgery (double mastectomy) in Michigan. This is something I’ve wished for nearly four years, and I’m excited to finally get approved and have a surgery date! It’s like a birthday gift since it’s two days before my birthday

While I’ve been working hard to advocate for and prioritize mutual aid for local trans* folks in Pittsburgh through my nonprofit, BLAC (Black Liberation Autonomous Collective), I now find myself in need of care and community support during this time.

The funds raised through this campaign will go towards housing and transportation expenses as I travel to Michigan for surgery and recovery. The pre op appointment is 5/7, surgery is on 5/8, and post op check up is 5/13. I have to be in Michigan for at least a week in order to make sure I’m healing properly. Every contribution helps ensure that I can focus on healing and moving forward.
