SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES HURRICANE RELIEF

I am Afemah Cunningham, an armed forces personnel. Over the past few days, the Grenadine islands of Canouan, Union island and other surrounding islands has been decimated by a category 4 Hurricane called Beryl, where more than 90% of homes were lost throughout this devastating disaster. That’s over 4000 homeless families. This is the earliest category 4 Hurricane on record. The lives of the persons on these Islands has been uprooted and will never be the same. This catastrophic hurricane have taken lives, flattened homes, displaced families and crippled the economy. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to assist the families displaced with the necessary urgent relief to victims affected.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for immediate relief efforts and long-term recovery projects. Your generous contributions will go towards providing shelter, food, clothing, medical supplies, and rebuilding homes and infrastructure where possible. Together, we can help the resilient people of Union Island, Canouan and other surrounding islands restore their lives and our beloved islands.
