Saint Pauls Church, Glenamoy in situated in the parish of Kilcommon- Erris. It was built in the 1930's in the small rural community in North Mayo.
Over time exposure to harsh weather conditions has caused deterioration to the fabric of the building, resulting in the church having to temporarily close to prevent injury until the roof is replaced.
Ongoing routine maintenance of the church is a challenge in itself, so we are seeking donations to assist with this substantially bigger issue.
The roof project will have an overall cost of €80,000-90,000.
Our community is seeking help to raise these much needed funds in order to keep our church open, which is an integral part of our community.
