Saint Kevin's to Africa
Donation protected
We are thrilled to announce an upcoming initiative by Saint Kevin's College Lisnaskea, scheduled for January 2025, wherein 20 of our pupils will embark on a transformative journey to Kenya, Africa.
Our students have been diligently organising fundraising events with great zeal and dedication. The primary objective behind these efforts is to provide essential resources to the community of Saint Joseph’s Seminary, an all-boys boarding school in need.
Recognising the challenges faced by St. Joseph's as they launch a new school curriculum this year, our focus lies in equipping them with the necessary books and supplies to ensure a comprehensive and enriching educational experience for their students.
Among the various initiatives underway, one of the most exciting ventures involves the raising of cows for sale at the mart. All proceeds from this endeavor will be generously donated to St. Joseph's Seminary. We are proud to share that two of our enthusiastic pupils have taken on the responsibility of caring for and raising these cows, named Betsey and Sadie.
As we strive to meet our fundraising goals, we invite your support through purchasing tickets priced at £10 each. Your kind donation will not only contribute towards the well-being of Betsey and Sadie but will also aid in providing much-needed school supplies to St. Joseph's Seminary.
It is important to mention that every additional fund raised beyond the needs of the cows will be directed towards fulfilling the educational requirements of St. Joseph's Seminary.
Moreover, we are delighted to offer an opportunity for contributors to win exciting prizes, including: First prize: £300 MacNean voucher
Second prize: £200 Cash
Third prize: Northface Rucksack
Fourth prize: Signed copy of Neven Maguire's latest cookbook and apron
To ensure your participation in the draw, kindly ensure that your name is clearly attached to your donation.
Your support and generosity will not only make a meaningful difference in the lives of the students at Saint Joseph’s Seminary but also contribute towards fostering a brighter future for communities in need.
Thank you for your support.
