Our basement was broken into and all the copper and other metals were stripped out! This happened in broad daylight last Monday, the only day we are closed...we have a hundred and twenty year old wooden frame building, it gets QUITE warm with all the actions of liturgy.
We are in the POOR section of downtown Indianapolis and many of our neighbors and friends are of limited income, the rest of our parishioners are scattered across Central and Southern Indiana. We are the only Byzantine Catholic Church in Southern Indiana.
