Sailnplay's Moroccan Earthquake Relief

Mike Shaw Roberts of Luxury Yacht Charter Operator Sailnplay based in Marina del Este is planning to drive the Sailnplay minibus down to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco on October 27th full of relief supplies for the earthquake victims who lost their homes and possessions in the recent catastrophic earthquake to hit the area on September 8/9th.

With winter fast approaching and thousands made homeless by the disaster, warm clothing and food supplies are vital, as many survivors escaped their collapsing homes with little or no clothing and only one pair of shoes.

We are busy collecting jumpers, fleeces, cardigans, (warm) hats, gloves and shoes of any sizes (particularly children's sizes), blankets, and even tents for temporary shelter against the freezing winter temperatures which will hit the Atlas Mountains area in November/December at the start of the Moroccan winter.

Any money collected through your generosity will also go directly towards rebuilding the homes and schools so badly affected by this recent tragedy.
