Hi, we are Amber (16) and Andrei (17) have both been sailing since we were 7 and came together last summer to transition into a 29er together. The 29er is a high performance skiff dingy, popular in teenagers due to its competitive racing and fast speeds (max 30mph). We live a few hours travel from eachother and as neither of us drive it is a big commitment to make training work but we love the sport and we love the boat and so we do whatever it takes to make things work even if that is driving for 4 hours a day to get to eachother so we can sail (creds to the parents, love you guys!). We have recently achieved one of our biggest goals of being selected to represent team GB at the 29er world championships this summer in Keil, Germany, we are the only scottish boat to be selected. This is such a dream come true however it brings with it great financial costs, we ask for any support you can give to get us to Germany. Thank you, roll on worlds!!
