Sailing for Ireland at Topper Worlds in Medemblik
Donation protected
Hi, We’re a Group of Young Sailors Representing Ireland — and We Need Your Help!
This July, we have the chance of a lifetime: to represent Ireland at the Topper World Championships in Medemblik, the Netherlands, and we need some support to get there.
We’re a team of young sailors who’ve spent the past year training, racing, and learning everything we can on the water. We’ve sailed in wind, rain, and (sometimes!) sunshine and we’ve earned our place at one of the biggest junior sailing events in the world.
Why It Matters to Us
Sailing is something we love. It challenges us, teaches us resilience, and gives us a chance to compete, grow, and meet other sailors from all over the world. For most of us, this will be our first time competing internationally — and we’ll be wearing our flag with pride.
What We’re Raising Money For
- Coaching (their travel and accommodation costs)
- RIBs for coaching and on the water support
- Incidentals for the coaching at the event
Every Euro raised will go directly towards getting us to the Worlds.
How You Can Help
If you can donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. And even if you can’t, please consider sharing this with friends or family who might be able to help.
We’re very excited (and a little nervous!) but mostly we’re proud to be representing all of you and we hope you’ll help us make it to the start line.
Thank you so much!
