Hi everyone! As some may have heard, our 11 week old puppy, Saige, has had a tragic event. We had her at a baseball game and a foul ball from another field came and hit her while she was sleeping. She immediately started yelping for a long period of time and all of the games came to a pause. So many people came over to help her and see what was going on. We had to rush her to the Pet ER and spent half of the night waiting to hear the X-Ray results. Unfortunately, the results showed a fractured femur bone on her back leg. She has been unable to walk, use the bathroom, and has barely eaten. We have diligently tried to find the best solution for her. She was dropped off at Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Center, last night and will soon be in the surgery room. If anyone wants to help with her surgery and recovery that would be greatly appreciated!
