Help get Saif to safety
Donation protected
We are raising funds to evacuate Saif Abu Mallouh and his family of seven from Gaza. Specifically from Nuseirat. We need to move quickly. There is no safe place in Gaza. Death looms as the punishment continues. In December, most of my friends were killed in the war and we lost people dear to us.
As you can imagine, Saif feels less safe with every passing minute. Saif, 20, is a prime target for persecution with random acts of revenge violence. He and his father do their best to provide for everyone, but resources are dwindling. There is no air to breathe except polluted air and smoke. The noise of drones haunts their days and nights. Sleep is often disturbed or ruined. Saif had hoped to stay in Gaza for seven years, but their brush with death has convinced him that the entire family must leave. Time is of the essence. And that is his message.
I was born in Gaza twenty years ago and have witnessed five attacks here but I have never seen anything as brutal as this one. I believe it is the most violent in the world. In this disaster, I lost my best friend. We always planned to travel together for fun, but now I decided to travel with my family to escape death. We are trying to survive the massacres that are happening against civilians. We are trying to preserve our lives as much as possible by leaving our homeland, our home, and everything we own and traveling far away in search of safety.
We were forced to leave our homes and live in tents for a certain period of time. The army imposed this punishment on us. We could not take anything from our home except some papers and a little money. There was no water in the tents and it did not protect us from the cold of winter or heavy rains. They were difficult and tiring days. There were no bathrooms to relieve ourselves. We tried to make the tents more like a home by spending the money we had on buying the basic things that any home needs, and we prepared a bathroom and other comfortable things in the tent.
But we wished to return to our real homes as soon as possible, but this has become impossible now, as those whose homes were not completely destroyed by the war, were partially demolished and became uninhabitable, but thank God in any case we returned to our homes after a certain period of time requested by the army after it dropped leaflets on us from the plane. I was studying programming at Palestine University in Al-Zahraa City, but my studies were stopped and the university was targeted and destroyed.
Now my family and I have decided to travel in search of safety.
Unfortunately, "money" is the biggest obstacle and we do not have enough money to leave the land of death to the land of salvation in Egypt, so I need your help now
Your donations will be the difference between life and death for me and my family, and you are my lifeline, my dear ones.
