This is the story of Sahin L. Morales,  a great man, husband, father, grandfather and friend, he was truly a  super hero to those who knew him best.  To know him was to love him. 
Sahin was born in Guatemala in May of 1950 he spent his childhood and adolescence being the best Mayan Warrior he could be.    He came to the United States when he was 21 years old determined to live out the American Dream.
 
Sahin was genuine and reliable and he was dedicated to his work and his community.  In 1972 in NY, he was reunited with Isabel a girl from his home village in Guatemala.   The two fell in love and were married.  Sahin devoted himself to Isabel and they created a family together.  They had 3 boys,   Maurice, Alan and Rick who they raised together in their love and culture and faith and the boys grew to be Mayan warriors like their father!  Sahin and Isabel raised their boys in Long Island and gave them a great life.  The boys blessed them with 9 grandchildren who they took so much pride in and brought them so much joy.
 
Sahin was known by his family, friends, neighbors and coworkers as the quintessential hard working American Man.  So many people looked up to him as an amazing man, father and husband and he knew how to have a good time too!  He was constantly eager to help anyone in need both physically and financially, Sahin always wanted to do whatever he could.  Sahin had so much more to give, so many more memories to make but his story was cut short by COVID-19 on April 9, 2020. 
 
Sahin’s family is devastated by his loss and the current global pandemic has made it even more difficult to cope and grieve.  Still, the Morales family would like to give their Patriarch, their hero, the farewell he deserves.  Isabel is left behind with the sadness of losing the love of her life and the financial stress that comes with a loss of a loved one.  We ask that you open your heart and find a little piece of Sahin and reach out to help the family in their time of need.  If you know this great family you know that they are always helping their family and friends and their community.  It is just who they are and that is because they were raised and influenced by Sahin.  If you are able to give back to bury this incredible man please do so, no amount is too small.
