This fundraiser is for Sahil, who studied at St Clair College in Windsor ON. After completing his graduation, he applied for the open work permit and received the same in 90 days. Then, immediately he applied for the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), but the coverage will start from 2020-02-22. Unfortunately, he comes across with severe pain in the morning of January 25, when he was left for the job around 6 AM from Windsor to Leamington. Suddenly, he called us that he's having severe pain in the lower left side of the stomach. Then, he came back with a difficulty and we (housemates) called 911 for an ambulance. They took him to Windsor Regional Hospital due to an emergency as he was suffering from pain continuously. After the doctor's examination and required scan, the hospital discharged him and further recommended him to another doctor for future treatment. On January 27, he received an email from Windsor Regional Hospital indicating his treatment bill i.e. 3785 CAD. Even he has no medical or health benefits under his job. The recommended doctor also has fees but he's planning to close this bill and visit India for further treatment as it is very costly in Canada without having insurance. In this difficult situation of life, we all need to stand with Sahil to pay his hospital bill.
