This is my aunt Sahar. She has always been everyone’s comforter and support. She has been an incredible single mom whose heart is strong and soul is selfless. She always climbs mountains and never carried them.

On Christmas Eve, she was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer. She underwent a hysterectomy in Egypt where she lives and was very optimistic about the results. She endured so much pain to fight this disease. Unfortunately, 7 weeks after the surgery, she discovered that the cancer has metastasized to her bladder, colon, and abdominal wall. She was misdiagnosed in Egypt and did not receive the medical care she needed. 48 hours after her diagnosis, in despair and unable to process the quick deterioration, she flew to New Jersey for treatment. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer, surgical infection and was also suffering from hypercalcemia due to the untreated cancer. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any insurance and is paying out of pocket.

Her daughter, Chantal unfortunately is unable to work in order to be with her mom and assist her with her needs here. She is receiving no income because of this. It would be devastating to have her lose her mom as an only child. Her mom is her pride and joy. 

As of now, she needs at least 6 rounds of chemotherapy. She is losing hope and is getting weaker by the day. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Everything we can do to help and surround her with love is what is most important so she can focus on beating this thing.
